Domain risk score is an automated way to assess the risk of a domain name or IP address. This allows companies to protect themselves from phishing attacks, spoofing, impersonation, and other types of fraudulent activity before engaging in any connection with a malicious domain. It can also help forensics teams minimize the amount of time they spend reviewing dangerous connections on a daily basis.

The TRACE Bribery Matrix (Matrix) is a risk ranking of 194 countries, territories, and autonomous and semi-autonomous regions based on business bribery, anti-corruption measures, transparency in government and civil society, and capacity for corporate oversight. It is produced by the international non-governmental organization TRACE and updated annually.

An appropriate analysis approach is to use the intention-to-treat (ITT) principle, as described in Section 8.2. However, it is often difficult or impossible to gather outcome data for all trial participants and hence analyses that rely on assumptions about missing outcome data are sometimes used. Such analyses are often described as modified intention-to-treat (mITT) analyses. These analyses are at risk of bias due to selective non-reporting (Kirkham et al 2010) or because of procedures used to impute or otherwise account for missing outcome data.

Proactive scoring methods evaluate and categorize DNS traffic in real-time, identifying threats that would otherwise be missed by legacy systems. Unlike static results, the best solutions can identify malicious intent at its earliest stages, enabling administrators to block dangerous domains before they can be exploited. To do this, they must incorporate a wide variety of dynamic indicators that identify attacker infrastructure and methodologies, and continuously reassess and rescore domains based on their threat landscape.
