The financial academy at Lake Brantley High School connects students with the world of finance and personal financial planning.
Is Padua good for international students?
The Academy is a joint effort between Lake Brantley High School and the National Academy Foundation, a nonprofit educational organization that was founded in 1982 to help introduce America’s youth to the many possibilities of careers in the financial services industry.
Courses and resources abound to equip students with the skills to succeed in a variety of professions, ranging from the world of work to business ownership and beyond. The Academy boasts a robust curriculum that includes business technology, accounting, economics and personal financial planning.
One of the most notable elements of the program is the financial internship component that provides students with a hands-on experience in the real-world financial arena. Students have the opportunity to apply for positions at banks, credit unions, investment firms and other financial institutions located on the campus.
Unlike many traditional academic programs, the financial academy boasts a well-designed learning environment and supportive faculty to ensure students learn what they need to know in a way that works for them. They also have access to a host of high-tech resources including a dedicated student support team, a state-of-the-art learning lab and an active alumni community.
The best part is that the program can be tailored to the needs of each participant, allowing them to complete the most relevant courses at their own pace and convenience.
