Advocacy & Support Session are held via our Secure, Confidential Zoom Platform and last for 30 minutes.
Please have to hand any paperwork you feel is essential to your case, for case support.
Session are to offer a free introduction suport service, however, should you have a complex or ongoing case and need 1-1 Professional Independent Adocacy, please visit our Independent Advocacy page.
SOCIAL & SUPPORT INTERNATIONAL SCHEME
Our Facebook Support Group is a community over over 500 women and growing, who all share one statement #IFSHECANICAN.
The group focuses on Self-Care, Self-Help, Self-Development and Honouring the Power of the Story.
As part of our Facebook Group, we also run an Online ‘Live’ Support Group, which is exclusively for members of this group.
The last Wednesday of every month, we meet in our Zoom Room, to socialise and support one another, from the comfort of our homes.

WE HAVE A VISION AND A MISSION TO REACH WOMEN ACROSS THE GLOBE, WHO HAVE SUFFERED FROM ANY FORM OF PSYCHOLOGICAL TRAUMA OR SEXUAL VIOLENCE, TO KNOW THEY ARE NOT ALONE.
Social & Support Volunteers – who act as a form of befriending in various locations across the globe. Providing you with:
• Listening support either online or face-face (subject to the volunteers availability)
• Ad-hoc meet ups at local cafes, parks, etc organised by the volunteer and will be advertised in the Facebook Support Group
• Annual regional events

Social & Support Volunteers will have completed the Accredited 7 Week PTSD & Anxiety Trauma Recovery Program via She Can Consultancy, to provide sufficient listening support during their role. They will have a basic understanding of safeguarding and how to signpost adequately. Social & Support Volunteers have lived experience of trauma and so will be accessing a supportive role, with no judgement.
